Manage a specific project or all of your company’s submittals, Requests for Information (RFI), and document control requirements. Provide professional and coordinated submittal documents, manage and track approvals, and provide assistance with suppliers to ensure the correct products are reviewed, ordered, and delivered. Review documents with field management to ensure any questions are addressed using the proper Request for Information protocols set forth by the design team and Prime Contractor. Ensure your field teams are using the latest and greatest design documents while building to avoid costly rework.
Develop detailed project plans: including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations. Monitor project expenses and ensure that the project stays within financial constraints. Lead and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including field teams and suppliers, to ensure effective collaboration. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
Review and assist in negotiation of project contracts, including contract terms and final contract sums. Utilize and coordinate outside legal counsel to review and provide comments on project contracts and insurance requirements. Provide a risk management analysis of a project from both a contractual risk standpoint and potential onsite risks. Review of insurance coverages to verify they meet the requirements of the contract and customer.
